ISO Certification Cost
The cost of ISO certification is not an opaque number. It is made up of specific, transparent components — and in many cases it is funded through ΕΣΠΑ (EU/Greek grants). Below we explain exactly what you pay and why.
The most common question we get is “how much does certification cost”. The honest answer: it depends on your company size, the standard and the complexity of your processes. There is no one-size-fits-all price list — but there is full transparency. At the free initial assessment you receive a clear quote, with the consultant fee separated from the certification body fee, and no hidden charges.
What the cost is made of
Consultant fee
The study, design and documentation of your management system, training your team and preparing you for the audit. This is a one-off cost and it is our part.
Certification body fee
The fee of the accredited body (e.g. ΕΣΥΔ) that performs the audit and issues the certificate. It is independent of us — we help you choose the most suitable one.
Annual surveillance
The certificate is valid for 3 years with 2 annual surveillance audits. The maintenance cost is clearly lower than the initial certification.
What shapes the price
- ✓ Size & number of employees — the main driver of audit days.
- ✓ Number of sites / branches included in the scope.
- ✓ Standard & process complexity (e.g. ISO 9001 vs ISO 27001 or HACCP).
- ✓ Maturity level — if procedures already exist, implementation time drops.
- ✓ Integrated certification of several standards together (reduces total cost).
ΕΣΠΑ funding — certification can cost you very little
The cost of consulting support and ISO certification is an eligible expense in many ΕΣΠΑ programmes and development incentives for small and medium enterprises. This means a significant part — and in some actions the largest part — of the expense can be covered by a grant. We inform you of active programmes and guide you to make the most of every available funding.
